Who We Are
Armour Labs was founded by local hockey players. Former captains of San Jose State University's ice hockey team, Adam Smith-Toomey and Ray Kellam. The birth of Armour Labs came about one night as Adam and Ray were discussing their smelly hockey equipment. Earlier that week Adam had discovered the San Jose Sharks owned a machine that killed 99% of bacteria on hockey equipment. One phone call to Roy Sneesby, Sharks assistant equipment manager, and Adam and Ray had the power to kill all the bacteria on sports gear in the entire South Bay within their reach . Armour Labs was created days later.
